Architectural Digest Middle East — 2026

Beit Al Ajami, Damascus
Imad Husari Interior Design Studio was featured in Architectural Digest Middle East for its work on Beit Al Ajami, a historic residence in Damascus restored by architect and conservator Michael Zayat.

Following the restoration of the house, the studio was brought in to develop the interiors through furniture sourcing, placement and styling. The approach was centred on preserving the spirit of the existing architecture while introducing a considered selection of furniture, objects and decorative elements.

Pieces were carefully sourced from local markets across Damascus, chosen for their character, craftsmanship and connection to the city. Existing furniture was also thoughtfully rearranged and combined with new pieces to create spaces that feel collected, authentic and deeply connected to their setting.

The project was featured as a digital cover of Architectural Digest Middle East and in the September 2026 print issue, highlighting the restoration and interior story of Beit Al Ajami.
